Initial A2PB development slowly comes to an end. The goal is to finalize the last features by mid September (a considerable big one was just added recently – see my last post).
Over the past few months, I put quite some thought into possible ways to commercialize A2PB as a product. My participation in the nag IT project innovation contest helped a lot in that regard too (see the previous post). The decision now is to enter an extended real world testing phase (10 to 12 months). During that time, I will be testing A2PB daily with live data, fix bugs, tweak features and work on more automated tests and documentation.
The goal is to move A2PB to “product quality” by the summer of 2023. By then, I will start looking into ways how to develop a business around the product.
I will only put one to two days of effort per week into the coming testing phase. This leaves me with three to four days per week to do other work: consulting work to generate some income.
In order to have a legal entity for invoicing of consulting work, as well as the future commercialization of A2PB, I started the company nCubate Software GmbH.
